## Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in connecting talented candidates with the right opportunities. In this role, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with employers to understand their hiring needs whilst sourcing, assessing, and placing suitable candidates across a range of industries. You will thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and bring a consultative approach to building lasting relationships with both clients and job seekers. This role suits a confident communicator with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for helping people achieve their career goals.

## Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from taking detailed job briefs through to offer negotiation and placement confirmation.
- Receive and record job vacancy information from employers, including role requirements, remuneration packages, and conditions of employment, ensuring all details are accurately maintained within the recruitment database.
- Advertise job vacancies across relevant job boards, social media platforms, and internal channels to attract a strong and diverse pool of candidates.
- Source, screen, and interview applicants to assess their skills, experience, career objectives, and suitability for specific roles.
- Provide timely and accurate information on current job opportunities to both employers and job seekers, ensuring all parties are well-informed throughout the recruitment process.
- Conduct skills testing and reference checks where required, presenting only the most suitable candidates to clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of employment on behalf of clients and candidates, facilitating outcomes that meet the needs of all parties.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor on workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
- Develop and grow your candidate pipeline through proactive headhunting, networking, and referrals.
- Collaborate with internal team members to share market intelligence, candidate leads, and business development opportunities.
- Meet and exceed individual KPIs and revenue targets in line with business objectives.
- Stay informed of industry trends, labour market conditions, and best practice recruitment methodologies to provide clients with relevant and up-to-date advice.

## Required Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition role, either agency or in-house.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple roles and client relationships simultaneously in a high-volume environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with candidates and clients at all levels.
- Proven experience conducting structured interviews and competency-based assessments.
- Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work Act obligations, and recruitment compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
- Commercial acumen and a target-driven mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding KPIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

## Preferred Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a specialist recruitment sector such as technology, construction, healthcare, or professional services.
- Familiarity with Boolean search techniques and sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms.
- Membership with the Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association (RCSA) or equivalent professional body.
- Completion of a Certificate IV in Human Resources or Recruitment Practice.
