What you’ll be doing

This is a unique opportunity to work with the Sydney Women’s Endosurgery Centre (SWEC), which consists of Australia’s pioneering and leading Gynae-Endoscopic Surgeons in the field of laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. The SWEC team is dedicated to bringing the benefits of this advanced and less invasive procedure to all women requiring gynaecological surgery.
This appointment will require you to complete 6 months on the general O&G roster, prior to commencing the formal SWEC Fellowship, where you will be responsible for the supervision and guidance of medical students, residents and trainees and providing leadership amongst JMO’s in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The two-year Fellowship is subject to review by the hospital and SWEC in conjunction with the candidate after the first 12 months.
