Goldenridge Group Pty Ltd is a reputable and growing roofing and roof restoration company in Perth, seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dedicated team. If you are experienced in residential external painting, roof restoration preparation and finishing works, and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.

At Goldenridge Group Pty Ltd, we provide high-quality residential roofing, roof repairs, roof replacements, roof restoration work and maintenance services across the Perth metropolitan area. We value reliable tradespeople who take pride in their work, communicate well, and can support our roofing teams with painting, roof cleaning, pressure washing and finishing works.

Your Duties Will Include:

Painting residential eaves, fascias, gutters, downpipes, trims and external surfaces.
Preparing surfaces properly, including sanding, scraping, patching, sealing and priming.
Completing painting work as part of roof repair, roof replacement and roof restoration projects.
Cleaning and preparing tile roofs before restoration works, including pressure washing where required.
Painting and coating tile roofs as part of roof restoration projects, including applying appropriate primers, sealers and paint systems.
Protecting surrounding surfaces, managing overspray risk and completing site clean-up after pressure washing, cleaning and painting works.
Assisting with finishing works after tile-to-tin roof replacements and roof repairs.
Identifying surface defects and carrying out minor preparation repairs before painting.
Working safely at heights and around active residential roofing works.
Using brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other painting tools safely and professionally.
Maintaining a clean and organised work site.
Working closely with roof plumbers, roof tilers, supervisors and other team members.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with project requirements.

To Be Successful You'll Need To Be Able To:

Have a minimum of 3 years painting experience, preferably in residential external painting, roof restoration preparation and tile roof painting. A relevant trade qualification is preferred, or equivalent practical experience must be demonstrated.
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or Equivalent
Provide evidence of proven painting experience and quality workmanship.
Demonstrate experience or capability in roof cleaning, pressure washing, surface preparation and painting tile roofs.
Have strong attention to detail and take pride in neat, clean finishes.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport.
Prioritise and follow all safety procedures on site.
Be comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding and around roof work, including cleaning and preparation work on tile roofs where required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and clients.
Manage your time well and complete work efficiently.
Problem-solve effectively and find practical solutions on site.
Be reliable, punctual and willing to support the wider roofing team when required.
Have potential to grow into a more senior or leading hand role.
