In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust quality assurance frameworks that ensure compliance with both internal policies and external industry standards. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to identify risks, drive continuous improvement, and embed a culture of quality across the organisation. This position is well suited to a methodical and proactive professional with a strong background in ICT systems, auditing, and quality governance.
## Key Responsibilities

- Analyse audit findings to identify variations, irregularities, and potential high-risk areas that may compromise adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Develop and recommend corrective action plans to address non-compliance, driving timely resolution and measurable improvements across systems and processes.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality assurance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with accredited internal and external industry standards.
- Evaluate the functional performance, validity, and business value of ICT systems and environments, providing evidence-based recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the software and systems development lifecycle.
- Communicate and liaise with end users, technical staff, and management to promote awareness of quality standards, procedural requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Design and execute structured test plans, test cases, and testing strategies to validate system performance and identify defects prior to deployment.
- Monitor ongoing processes and systems to proactively detect quality issues and ensure sustained adherence to regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of audit activities, test results, findings, and corrective actions for reporting and governance purposes.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and oversight to junior QA staff or ICT quality assurance team members where required.
- Contribute to risk assessments and the development of quality improvement initiatives that support organisational objectives and ICT strategy.

- Demonstrated experience in an ICT quality assurance, systems auditing, or related technical role within a complex organisational environment.
- Proven ability to plan and conduct quality audits, analyse system and process data, and produce clear, actionable reports.

- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and frameworks such as ISO 9001, ITIL, or equivalent standards.
- Experience developing and maintaining QA documentation including test plans, test cases, procedures, and audit reports.
- Proficiency with QA tools and technologies relevant to ICT environments, such as defect tracking, test management, or automation platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
