OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE

If you are a qualified mechanic with a sound knowledge of mechanical skills, diagnostics problem solving and wants to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you...

Key tasks and duties:

· Dismantle, repair and replace mechanical components including (but not limited to) transmissions, engine assemblies and steering mechanisms and completing a thorough inspection of components with the assistance of service manuals;

· Identify, repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts;

· Perform scheduled maintenance services;

· Reassemble, test and adjust engines and parts after being repaired.

Key requirements:

Qualified Mechanic / Service Technician with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience;
At least Certificate III, Certificate IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent;
Have outstanding attention to detail;
Reliable, strong work ethics and positive attitude;
Have multi brand exposure in repairs and maintenance of vehicles is desirable;
Team focused and working for the overall success of the team;
Self-motivated and love what they do;
Good computer skills;
Current driver licence (Auto & Manual).

Successful applicant:

To be able to work and communicate together with our Workshop Foreman to increase efficiencies within the workshop;
Be flexible, approachable, and able to work within a team;
Show initiative and good problem-solving skills;
Have a calm attitude with good listening skills;
Own tools that will be maintained in good condition.

We are a standalone family-owned Kia dealership / Used Prestige, established for over 50 years with a loyal client base, so there will be opportunity and ability to progress your career within our business.

Uniform provided and KIA training offered.
