This role supports the Energy, Water, Civil Engineering and Geotechnical teams, providing administrative support across the Group and to the Senior Business Administrator.
You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly across the team, with the opportunity to get involved in project support, including city shaping work. This is a great opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of tasks and support the growth of key markets.
We are seeking someone who is organised, adaptable and solutions focused, and who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
- Group support
- Arranging travel (if approved Travel Booker for the Geography)
- Team events, meetings and workshops, including help with logistics and documentation
- Calendar management.
- Business card orders as per Arup’s processes.
- Management of distribution lists (if designated Owner of those lists)
- Management of Team/SharePoint Sites.

Is this role right for you?
- Relevant industry experience in administration within a consulting/engineering/built environment business
- Good understanding of processes, guidelines and job instructions, knowledge of nuances and ambiguities.
- Follows processes, procedures and instructions and identifies any gaps or inefficiencies.
- Responds positively and productively to the evolving needs of the business, facilitating change.
- Tolerant and adapting to various situations, personalities and styles.
- Able to work effectively in an open-plan, fast-paced and vibrant office environment.
