Our Stellarossa Cafe in Nerang Mall is on the hunt for passionate and fun-loving Experienced Baristas, also known as our Creators of Happiness, to join our dynamic team. Enjoy working in varied Front of House roles that keep you learning holistically across the business. About Stellarossa

Stellarossa Coffee began in Brisbane in 2009, and since then, we’ve grown throughout Queensland, with further expansion in progress. Each café is locally owned and operated, meaning our franchise owners are emotionally invested in making their business work and keeping their teams and guests happy. At our stores, you will find unique menus featuring Stellarossa core dishes as well as local favourites.

About the Role

As an Experienced Barista at Stellarossa Nerang, you will be busy pumping out coffees and preparing cold drinks for dine-in and takeaway, while interacting with guests, taking their orders, and supporting your fellow team members. We have two part-time positions for 25-30 hours each, with a focus on weekdays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Dial in grinders to Stellarossa espresso recipe.
Interact with guests, taking their orders and providing exceptional customer service.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Support your team members and create a positive atmosphere.
Manage FOH inventory and restock supplies as needed.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista.
Preferable availability across weekends, weekdays and public holidays.

Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
A charismatic, engaging, bright, and bubbly personality.
High energy and productivity levels.
Well-rounded coffee and guest service experience.
Openness to learning and following systems.
