About the Role

Support complex CRE transactions through disciplined credit analysis, deal structuring and execution, while delivering strong customer outcomes and managing portfolio risk.

Each day you will go above and beyond

Support Senior Business Banking Managers across CRE specialist partnerships with complex deal structuring and execution activities.
Prepare and contribute to high‑quality credit submissions, including detailed analysis, clear recommendations and complete supporting documentation.
Complete financial modelling and interpret complex financial and property transaction information across investment and development lending.
Negotiate deal structures, terms and conditions with customers and internal credit stakeholders.
Manage end‑to‑end lending execution, maintaining accountability and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and manage lending portfolios to ensure ongoing performance, compliance and alignment to credit policy and risk appetite.
Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and internal partners to support consistent customer advocacy.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the Deal Structuring & Execution team, with a focus on credit quality and risk discipline.
Maintain awareness of market conditions, industry trends and emerging risks within the commercial property sector.
Provide coverage support across CRE partnerships and contribute to coaching and guidance of Associates where required.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers – you’ll need

4–8 years’ experience in banking, credit assessment or deal structuring, ideally within Commercial Real Estate or complex commercial lending.
Demonstrated experience structuring CRE transactions, with strong financial modelling and property analysis capability.
A tertiary qualification in business, finance, property or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Sound understanding of commercial and property industry practices, lending products and credit risk principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing clear, well‑reasoned credit submissions.
Proven ability to manage risk, comply with policy and exercise sound judgement in a regulated environment.
A collaborative, delivery‑focused approach aligned to NAB’s values and commitment to customer outcomes.
