About Strategy and Performance Accountability
Strategy and Performance Accountability partners collaboratively with all business areas to deliver agency‑wide strategic priorities ensuring a unified evidence-informed approach. We provide strategic insight and lead the agency in upholding corporate, legislative, and social obligations, and support business areas to do the same through capability building and guidance. In addition to our internal partners, we work closely with key stakeholders, portfolio statutory authorities and across government to deliver shared outcomes.
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance and Monitoring Analyst to join our Performance Analysis and Reporting team. In this role, you will support the Manager Performance Analysis and Reporting in initiating, leading, and delivering high-quality performance monitoring, data analysis, research, and evaluation activities.
The position is critical to underpinning the development of evidence-based policies, strategies, and practices aligned with CITS’ high-level priorities and outcomes. You will apply insights from local, national, and international best practice, and engage in effective consultation across State Government and relevant sectors and industries.
You will also provide high-level, value-added data analysis and policy advice to Executives and managers, while working collaboratively across the agency to build organisational capability in performance monitoring, evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.
We are looking for individuals with:
- Experience using Power BI, or similar tools to analyse, visualise and present data through dashboards
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and research skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex data insights
- Experience in statistical data analysis using relevant software, including the ability to interpret and report on data from complex information systems and data sources.
We have one permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available.
