Full Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on and detail-focused Expo Site Manager to represent our baby clothing brand at baby expos across Australia.

This is a travel-based casual role suited to someone who enjoys fast-paced event environments, takes pride in visual presentation, and can confidently manage both physical setup and on-the-ground staff coordination.

You will be responsible for ensuring our expo stand is consistently presented to a high visual standard, fully stocked, and operating smoothly across each event.

Expo Setup & Pack Down (Fridays and Sundays)

Lead all bump-in (Friday) and bump-out (Sunday) activities for each expo
Unpack, organise, and unpack boxes from pallets (heavy lifting involved)
Assemble and style the expo stand to brand standards
Hang, fold, and merchandise baby clothing for optimal visual presentation
Ensure all materials, signage, and stock are packed and accounted for after each event

On-Stand Management (2-day weekend expos)

Oversee daily expo operations during trading hours
Manage and support checkout staff across both days
Ensure shelves and displays are consistently replenished and well-presented
Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing stand at all times
Troubleshoot operational issues on the spot as they arise

Stock & Presentation

Monitor stock levels throughout each event
Replenish product displays promptly and efficiently
Maintain brand consistency and premium presentation standards

Schedule

Approximately 10 expos remaining this year across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

Standard format per expo:

Friday: Bump-in and setup (11am-2pm)
Saturday–Sunday: Expo trading (6 hours, 2 days)
Sunday evening: Bump-out and pack down (3/4pm-6pm)

What We Offer

Hourly casual rate (based on experience)
All travel expenses covered: Flights, Accommodation, Uber transfers to and from airports
Opportunity to travel nationally representing a growing baby clothing brand
Hands-on, varied role with creative and operational responsibility

Please note: Meals are not included.

About You

Previous experience in events, retail merchandising, expos, or visual merchandising preferred.
Physically capable of lifting, unpacking, and setting up stock and fixtures
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident managing small teams or retail staff in a fast-paced environment
Able to travel on weekends
Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused
Passionate about brand presentation and customer experience

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
