Project Support Officer

Virtual and Face to Face Program Coordination Team

Location: Parramatta Square, hybrid working conditions

Employment type: Full-time 6 months (with a possibility of extension)

Period: August 2026 – January 2027

Salary: $84,659 - $92,701 plus superannuation and leave loading

Your role

The role provides proficient administrative, coordination and clerical support to the Virtual and Face-to-Face Program Coordination (VFPC) team, ensuring the effective delivery of both virtual and face-to-face programs to individuals being managed in the community. You will also support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

What you’ll do

As part of the Virtual and Face-to-Face Program Coordination Team, you will:

Assist the team with a range of administrative and clerical processes related to programs and projects, including filing and records management, mail receipt and sorting, register maintenance, invoicing compilation, purchasing orders, manuals, and reports.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of programs for individuals being supervised in the community.
Collate, interpret, manage and disseminate information to support program planning, organisation and implementation.
Coordinate meetings including preparing agendas and preparing and distributing minutes to contribute to the smooth running of meetings.
Maintain program related administrative duties including recording of offender participation, program allocation and attendance.
Maintain filing, record and data systems to ensure they are accurate, accessible and secure to support program delivery and project management.
Provide technical and coordination support and assistance to Community Corrections staff and program participants.
Respond to incoming enquiries, providing information and referring enquiries in an effective and responsive manner.

What we’re looking for

Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal staff, external stakeholders, and program participants in a professional and responsive manner.
Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail, with proven ability to manage multiple administrative processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure data is handled securely and in line with required standards.
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, showing initiative and sound judgement when balancing competing demands within a busy program or project environment.
Experience providing administrative and coordination support, including preparing documentation, managing correspondence, organising meetings, and contributing to reporting and program delivery.
Ability and willingness to work within a flexible bandwidth as required to provide support for the delivery of programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to collate, interpret and manage information to support effective planning, program implementation and continuous improvement.
