The Software Engineer at Nuix works closely with Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers, Architects, and the Product team to deliver high-quality Nuix Products that serve both the company and its customers. We are looking for a software engineer with good understanding and experience building web services using modern technologies. We have a cross-functional team working across Java, React and Typescript. The candidate will primarily work with Java on our Data Sourcing capability. This will include work primarily with cloud data connectors and evidence management features but will expand to cover enterprise collections overtime. Nuix encourages growth and we’d be eager to see you work across all components of the product.
This position will be based in our Sydney office. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining 2 days of the week.
Be an active contributor to all team activities throughout the entire agile software life cycle
Work closely with product owners during discovery step to set up the goals and metrics for successful launch of the feature or component
Contribute to and/or lead software architecture and design of the features and components we build
Work on customer requests, helping the team and stakeholders to prioritise the improvements and additions to our product.
Mentor others in the team. Contribute to the growth of individuals, the team & the products.
Experience with modern React, redux and Typescript. Any experience of micro-frontends highly desirable, but not essential.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Java & Spring Boot application engineering.
Curiosity, eagerness to learn or experience of other languages and tools, we use a variety of languages across automation, front-end and backend.
Experience in solving complex technical problems and implementing high quality designs with the team.
