Role Description:
Do you want to work in the most advanced shipyard in the world, building the most complex Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate or Air Warfare Destroyer? If so, we have multiple opportunities for Pipe Fitters with specific experience in pipe testing and flushing (pipe cleaning processes) within the Production Team based in Osborne, SA.

Core Duties:
- Undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production Supervision and or Trades Trainer within bounds of current competence.
- Install various arrays of fittings and equipment to be utilised in the testing and flush process
- Verify pipe installation completeness and quality
- Work with process instructions and risk assessments to complete hydrostatic and/or pneumatic pipe testing
- Work with process instructions and risk assessments to complete system flushing and other cleanliness procedure to ensure successful system commissioning
- Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
Essential Skills:
- Certificate 3 Trade Qualification.
- Experience with pressure testing and/or flushing/cleaning of piping systems
- Knowledge of various types of pipe/hydraulic/air fittings/connections is advantageous
- Basic schematic drawing knowledge
- Experience/knowledge of Pipe installation processes
- Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
- Strong time keeping abilities.
- Excellent communication, influencing and skills.
