At Everhard Industries, we're looking for an experienced Accountant who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial thinking. Reporting to our Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations while helping improve the systems, processes and insights that drive business performance.

What you'll be doing
You'll have ownership across a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities, including:
Financial Accounting & Reporting

Preparing monthly management accounts, journals and reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and supporting accurate financial reporting.
- Managing costing activities including standard cost roll-ups, landed cost allocation, absorption costing and inventory reconciliations.
- Monitoring fixed assets, foreign currency transactions and cash flow forecasting.
- Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and systems.
Tax & Compliance

Preparing BAS, FBT and other ATO reporting obligations.
- Assisting with payroll tax reconciliations, corporate income tax calculations and statutory compliance.
- Supporting strong financial governance and internal controls.
Business Support

Maintaining accurate financial records and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance team.
- Working closely with stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insights that support better business decisions.

About You
You'll be a technically strong accountant who enjoys taking ownership and continually looking for better ways of working.
Ideally, you'll bring:

CA, CPA or CIMA qualification.
- Demonstrated post-qualification experience in a Financial Accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory accounting, taxation and compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing and/or product costing (highly regarded).
- NetSuite experience (preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability with strong commercial acumen.
- Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
