Good rostering is invisible when it works — and everything falls apart when it doesn't. In a care organisation, getting the right person to the right place at the right time isn't just an operational task. It directly affects the quality of support someone receives that day.

That's the weight of this role — and for the right person, it's exactly what makes it satisfying.

We're looking for two experienced Rostering Officers to join our Brisbane team on a permanent full-time basis. You'll work in a hybrid arrangement, splitting your time between home and either our Ipswich or Capalaba office depending on which works best for you.

What you'll be doing

Creating, coordinating and maintaining staff rosters to meet service and workforce needs — getting the right people in the right place, every shift
Allocating shifts and managing unplanned changes quickly and accurately to ensure coverage never slips
Processing availability, leave and roster updates in compliance with the SCHADS Award and fatigue management guidelines
Supporting timesheet accuracy to ensure payroll processing runs smoothly
Communicating clearly and promptly with staff and internal stakeholders when things change

You're the right person if...

You have proven rostering experience within community services and you know your way around the SCHADS Award
You're confident across Microsoft Office and rostering systems — and you pick up new platforms quickly
You're highly organised, accurate under pressure and calm when three things change at once
You communicate clearly with a dispersed team and internal stakeholders without things falling through the cracks
You hold a valid Driver's Licence, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
