Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our growing Brisbane-based metal fabrication business.

If you're a skilled operator who enjoys precision work, takes pride in producing quality components, and wants to work in a well-organised workshop with modern equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

This is a long-term opportunity with a business that values safety, quality, and its people.

About the Role

As part of our production team, you will be responsible for:

Setting up and operating CNC press brakes
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Selecting the correct tooling and programming machines where required
Producing accurate, high-quality folded components
Conducting first-off and in-process quality inspections
Working closely with production and fabrication teams to meet delivery schedules
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience operating CNC press brakes in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience setting up tooling and producing precision folded components
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Experience with Trumpf or similar CNC press brakes will be highly regarded.
