- we work together for success,

- we innovate for the future, and
- we celebrate diversity and inclusion.
If you share our vision and values, please consider this exciting career opportunity to join our growing team in Brisbane.
You’re unique, and we value that.
Best Practice Software is on a mission to transform our market-leading on-premises clinical solution into a modern, cloud-native SaaS product, without compromising the trusted look, feel, or reliability our customers depend on. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of SaaS-based products, digital technology, project management, and product development methodologies to lead this large-scale business change end-to-end.
You will be accountable for driving a cross-functional team to bring our new SaaS platform to market safely, at speed, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about digital technologies and product development. If you have a track record of successful project delivery and excellent communication skills, we invite you to apply.
As a Project Manager, we’ll call on your unique talents, skills, expertise, and experience. You’ll be responsible for:
- Define and own project scope, business case, resourcing strategy, and budget from the ground up.
- Work with technical resources to define and validate the technology stack solution, owning the process of building a robust, board-ready recommendation that meets our technical standards, regulatory obligations, and customer needs.
- Facilitate and enable the delivery team to clearly define the technical approach.
- End-to-end delivery of our SaaS product program, from initiation to launch.
- Coordination of a dedicated cross-functional team across delivery, design, development, QA, and compliance to meet project requirements.
- Ensuring that our SaaS product maintains a similar user experience consistent with our existing on-premises solution.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, team leadership, and members to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.
- Identifying project risks and issues and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Ensuring quality assurance by reviewing project deliverables and providing constructive feedback.
- Work with internal clinical safety and regulatory SME’s to embed compliance.
- Track and report progress to executive leadership by preparing regular status updates with clear, data-driven updates.
- Drive speed-to-market without compromising safety or quality.
- Utilise project management tools and software to streamline processes and improve collaboration.
- Resolve conflicts and address challenges that arise during project execution.
We believe our ideal applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in project management, along with relevant qualifications.
- Proven track record delivering SaaS software products to market, not just maintaining them.
- Experience managing large, complex, cross-functional programs through full delivery cycles.
- Strong background in regulated or health-related software industries.
- Ability to manage an independent team with clear accountability and autonomy.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native product delivery, and architecture awareness is desirable.
- Comfort working alongside development teams who are using AI-assisted development tools.
- Exceptional stakeholder management from Software Developers to C-suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with key stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Proactive nature with an ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.
