The opportunity…
We are currently looking for the right person to enhance our energetic Cardiothoracic Surgery team; the role is for a full-time Product Manager. The successful applicant can expect a welcoming team, a great portfolio and strong leadership support to grow in the role. A key responsibility will be to successfully differentiate and position the product portfolio, including the development of appropriate marketing strategies and tactics, to maximize revenue growth and profit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify market trends, new product opportunities and clinical trends through a high level of market presence and appropriate market research and competitor analysis;
- Manage the creation and distribution of product-related sales and marketing collateral;
- Maintain a high level of interaction and communication with all principals relevant to the assigned brand portfolio;
- Conduct product training and ongoing education. Maintaining all relevant marketing materials, clinical papers, and training documents;
- Coordinate relevant tenders and contracts in conjunction with the Tenders and Pricing Manager & Senior Product/Business Manager;

Experience required:
Essential
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or commitment to undertake studies in marketing upon appointment;
- Sound computer skills;
- High standard of demonstrable written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to liaise and communicate with other professionals within the business;
- Current valid driver’s license.
Desirable
- Minimum 5 years’ sales or marketing experience;
- Understanding of logistics and stock management;
- Previous marketing experience, preferably within the medical / surgical industry;
- Understanding of TGA/Regulatory Affairs.
