Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Structural Drafter who enjoys preparing structural drawings for a diverse range of commercial projects? We have a position currently available for immediate start as a Senior Structural Drafter.

Inertia is an engineering consultancy specialising in delivering structural, civil, and water engineering solutions for clients within the built environment. Requirements:

Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent proven technical or construction experience.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent).
Strong technical knowledge of systems and procedures relating to the role, including practical knowledge, principle engineering and construction methods, relevant codes, standards and legislation.
Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision on projects of significant scale and complexity.
Demonstrated ability of reviewing project technical work and providing direction and guidance to project personnel.
Advanced skill level in software such as Autodesk Revit/ AutoCAD.
Advanced knowledge of clash detection software such as Autodesk Navisworks/ Revizto/ Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Advanced knowledge in using markup software such as Bluebeam Revu.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
Highly motivated and self-driven.
