About Us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The County Court of Victoria is established pursuant to the County Court Act 1958. It has original and appellate jurisdiction and is the principal trial court in the State of Victoria. The Court hears over 12,000 criminal, common law, and commercial cases each year. The County Court has unlimited monetary jurisdiction in common law and commercial matters. In its criminal jurisdiction, the Court hears all indictable offences except treason, murder, and related offences.
There are a total of 80 Judges of the Court and over 300 staff, including judicial support staff. The County Court regularly conducts circuit sittings at 12 circuit courts situated in major centres throughout regional Victoria.

About the Role
The County Court of Victoria is seeking a Senior Manager, Security & Operational Readiness to lead critical business readiness functions in a complex environment.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Priority Projects, this role is responsible for strengthening the Court's operational continuity, security posture and asset reliability. You will provide strategic leadership across business continuity and emergency management, facilities and asset oversight, and security service delivery, ensuring the Court can anticipate, respond to and recover from disruption.
This is a senior leadership role requiring a high degree of autonomy, sound judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships across the Court, including with judicial officers, staff and external providers.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide strategic leadership of the Court's business readiness functions, including business continuity, facilities, asset management and security oversight

Oversee the development, testing and continuous improvement of business continuity and emergency management frameworks

Ensure safe, functional and resilient facilities environments through effective asset stewardship and service delivery

Manage performance and relationships with facilities and security service providers

Promote a strong, positive security culture across the organisation

Deliver high‑quality advice, risk management and governance, supporting executive assurance and continuous improvement
About You
You are a strategic and pragmatic leader with experience operating in complex, high‑risk or sensitive envi ronments.
You will bring:

Demonstrated senior experience in business continuity, facilities and/or security management

Strong capability in governance, assurance and providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders

Proven experience managing complex service provider and contractual arrangements

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse groups
A current Victorian Driver Licence is required.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or professional accreditation in business continuity, security or emergency management are desirable.
