Multiple opportunities have arisen for experienced Drill & Blast Technical Supports to join our team on the East of Australia.
We are actively seeking an experienced Drill & Blast professional to join and represent our Enaex Mining Technical Solutions (EMTS) team, comprised of innovative Drill & Blast Engineers, Technicians and Specialists.
Known internally as our EMTS Technical Support, in this role you will provide management of projects aimed at effective application of Enaex products and services. In addition, you will also provide training, advice, and recommendations to our clients predominantly for use of electronic initiation systems. Additionally, you will support with Drill & Blast improvement programs in both open cut and underground environments as required.
Core accountabilities include:
• Develop and manage technical value add projects for our customers.
• Provide support and technical training in EIS.
• Be the first point of contact on site when there are technical challenges.
• Audit customer D&B operations including skills and procedures.
• Work within a technical team environment.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment.
What experience do you need to be successful?
• Proven practical experience in a mining, customer driven environment.
• Strong customer focus.
• Experience delivering on bench and classroom-based training.
• Electronic detonator / initiation systems experience (Daveytronic highly regarded).
• Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
What qualifications will you need?
• Relevant qualifications.
• Shotfirer’s ticket, with hands on experience.
• Current driver’s licence
• National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain).
• State-relevant Security Clearance for handling explosives (or willing to obtain).
