Sentek is an Australian Manufacturer founded in 1991 of Soil moisture sensors, data loggers and software for measuring and managing soil moisture, salinity and temperature. Sentek designs, develops, manufactures, supports and globally distributes to 90+ countries it’s world-class technologies.

The position is full time (37.5 hrs per week) with a 3 month probationary period, applications must have full work rights.
What you'll be doing
· Providing phone and email support for Sentek products regarding any technical issue to distributors and customers
· Test electronic equipment for faults and accurately diagnosing the fault.
· Identify the appropriate repair strategy and undertake the repair on a timely basis as agreed.
· Maintaining the Tech support email
· Maintaining tickets on Zendesk to ensure they are handled in a timely manner
· Quality control of electronics. Batch-testing specified products and providing documentation of the results.
· Maintaining and recording serial and assembly production records.
· Recording repair details and faults by updating the repairs database and related documentation
· Maintaining electronic components stock levels and assisting in stock takes.
· Ensuring work instructions are current, and correcting them as required.
· Noting issues/corrections with current user manuals and escalate when need updating
· Liaise with internal and external parties in order to ensure that support issues are kept on track in a timely manner.
· Build policies and procedures and apply them to the role.
· Ensure Sentek has all the necessary information on products for integration and support
· Internal and external Training provision.
· Assisting in testing prototypes.
· Maintaining standards as required by ISO9001
What we're looking for
· 2+ years experience in providing Technical support on Sentek products in a B2B and B2C environment
· 2+ years experience of in Fault finding and Drill & Drop & EnviroSCAN probes
· 2+ years experience is fault finding and repairing Sentek IoT, Nexus Blue, Wifi Link, Plus & Multi data loggers
· 2+ year experience in Irrimax Live and Desktop
· Experience is maintaining ticket request in Zen Desk
· Advanced Soldering skills
· Degree in Electrical/Electronics
· Read and understand electronic schematics
· WHS awareness Familiarity with safe work practices
Pay: $65,000.00 – $71,000.00 per year
