The Role
As an Associate or Senior Associate in our Cyber & Technology team, you’ll focus on complex technology liability and dispute work - acting for technology providers, insurers and corporates across high-value, often multi-jurisdictional matters.
You’ll work alongside experienced partners on claims involving failed tech implementations, software and platform issues, data-related disputes and cyber incidents - bringing together core PI principles with a tech lens.
What You'll Do:
- Defend claims against technology providers and advise on liability arising from tech failures, system outages, delayed implementations and data breaches.
- Work on complex disputes involving negligence, breach of contract and misleading or deceptive conduct.
- Act on cyber-related disputes, including downstream claims following ransomware or security incidents.
- Collaborate with insurers on coverage issues and recovery strategies linked to tech and cyber losses.
- Build strong client relationships while mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a collaborative team.
What We're Looking For:
- An Associate or Senior Associate with a background in professional indemnity or broader insurance litigation.
- Experience or an interest in technology, cyber and data-related disputes - whether established or something you’re keen to develop.
- Strong grounding in defending negligence and contractual claims.
- Excellent client management skills, with experience working with insurers and/or corporate clients.
- A collaborative mindset and curiosity about how PI work is evolving in the tech space.
