The Mount Private Hospital is looking to employ experienced Registered Nurses in a full / part time or casual pool basis for our Anaesthetics Angiography Suite.
Key functions include:
-
Using industry leading equipment and technologies to deliver exceptional care to every patient
-
Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiac and vascular surgeons, nurses, technicians and radiographers to deliver comprehensive patient care
-
Demonstrating a commitment to continual learning and performing evolving procedures in all disciplines of Angiography, including Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart repair and replacement technologie

Participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives by collectively identifying areas for enhancement in processes and outcomes
-
Contributing to collaborative decision-making to ensure patient safety and procedural success
-
Actively participating in the mentoring and skill-set development of less experienced team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement
-
Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery post intervention.
About you
-
Minimum of 2 years’ full time Anaesthetic experience or equivalent
-
Current registration with AHPRA
-
Compliance with NSQHS National standards
-
Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
-
Work well independently and within a team.
Desirable Criteria:
-
Postgraduate studies i.e. Graduate Certificate in Anaesthetics or equivalent.

The Angiography suite at the Mount Hospital is a dynamic and busy unit completing over 4120 coronary and vascular procedures a year - and we are expanding further. The Cath Labs provide a variety of specialist services including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with advanced 3D mapping for complex arrhythmia's, cardiac implantable devices, vascular intervention and structural heart cases.

We have a team of experienced supportive nursing staff and radiographers delivering the highest quality care and service. There are 3 new state of the art Angiography suites adjacent to our 41 bedded coronary care unit. Along with the 3 labs, we have a Hybrid suite in the theatre complex with easy access to our 10 bedded level 3 ICU.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Mount Hospital – Registered Nurses – Enterprise Agreement 2022, a salary ranging from $39.17 - $51.75 per hour.
