Campbelltown Hospital Gastroenterology Clinical Trials is an established clinical trialsunit with particular expertise in hepatology and luminal gastroenterologypharmaceutical sponsored clinical research. Led by Principal Investigator AssociateProfessor Vincent Ho the clinical trials range from early phase 1 first-in-human trialsto large phase 3 trials.The Clinical Trials Coordinator for Campbelltown Hospital Gastroenterology will be:

Working in a dynamic team focused on providing high quality clinical research.
Assisting in developing and implementing projects, processes and systemsthat facilitate effective clinical research working closely with all relevantstakeholders.
Responsive and timely in communications with all relevant stakeholders.

We are seeking an ideal candidate with strong communication skills across verbal, written, and virtual platforms, paired with excellent attention to detail and a high level of organisation. The successful applicant will be confident in troubleshooting issues and taking a proactive, solutions-focused approach while effectively managing multiple clinical trial projects simultaneously. A positive, “can-do” attitude is essential, along with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated minimum 2 years experience in the field of research and/or clinical trials.
Well developed interpersonal, consultation, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated understanding and experience in the ethical requirements for research including the NHMRC National Statement and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor members of the research team to enhance professional development.
Computer skills including proficiency in the use of MS Word and Excel, email, and understanding of database utilisation such as electronic Case Report Forms (eCRF).
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve departmental goals with a customer focused approach.
Ability to engage with all stakeholders involved with clinical trial management to meet contractual and protocol requirements.
