The Role
We are looking for an exceptional Business Manager to lead our Lennox Head Health & Co Medical Centre. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader for both clinical and non-clinical operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the centre. From financial performance and business growth to team leadership and strategy execution — this is a dynamic role where you can make a genuine impact every single day.

The Responsibilities

As the Business Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in:

Driving Business Success: Own the Profit & Loss, set budgets, and identify strategic opportunities for growth and cost efficiencies.
Inspiring High-Performance Teams: Mentor, coach, and lead your team with purpose. Manage rosters, performance, recruitment, and training while building a workplace culture that people love being a part of.
Delivering Exceptional Patient Experiences: Champion service excellence and operational efficiency so that every patient interaction reflects our care-first ethos.
Supporting Healthcare Professionals: Provide operational support, streamline processes, and ensure HCPs are well-equipped and engaged.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead initiatives, develop business cases, manage projects and mitigate risks — all with a future-focused mindset.
Ensuring Compliance & Safety: Oversee WHS compliance, incident reporting, and create a safe, welcoming environment for both staff and patients.

The Successful Candidate
You’re more than just a manager — you’re a natural leader, a strategic thinker, and a people-first problem solver.

You’ll bring:

Demonstrated success in business leadership, within a Medical Centre environment (Essential)
Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a track record of achieving or exceeding budgets
Exceptional people leadership skills — you know how to inspire, coach and retain top talent
Emotional intelligence, negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A genuine passion for improving healthcare outcomes and operational excellence
