Own and embed an S&OP framework that drives real enterprise gains
Influence decisions across Assets, Commercial and Operations
Strategic role reporting to the Chief of Planning & Transformation

Lead the shift to smarter planning. Build & lead enterprise planning ensuring decisions align with business objectives. Your forward focus will optimise resource allocation, maintenance efficiency and customer on time delivery.

Own and embed an S&OP framework that drives real enterprise gains
Influence decisions across Assets, Commercial and Operations
Strategic role reporting to the Chief of Planning & Transformation

At Bis, Planning is a critical function in the way we work. Our planning framework underpins how we forecast, schedule and execute work to deliver on our commitments. As our Planning Manager, you’ll lead the cross functional processes and be responsible for lifting performance by ensuring plans optimise utilisation, resource allocation and deliver business objectives.

What you’ll own:

Develop, lead and embed our Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process
Create a single master plan that spans strategic to tactical planning
Deliver a predictable, planned maintenance program
Lift workshop turnaround times and reliability through better planning
Manage capacity models and forecasting across capital, workforce and workshops
Drive business improvement through data and scenario modelling

You’ll lead:

A small, capable team with enterprise impact
Strong cross-functional collaboration across Assets, Commercial, Operations and Finance

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in planning roles within asset-heavy or mining industries
Deep understanding of S&OP frameworks and maintenance planning
Commercial acumen and comfort with forecasting modelling
Strong communication and stakeholder influence
Leadership experience and ability to drive performance through others

You’ll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Finance or Commerce
Experience with maintenance planning and a data-driven approach to decision-making
A strategic mindset with the ability to deliver tangible outcomes

This role reports directly to the Chief Planning & Transformation Officer and plays a key part in reshaping our business for long-term growth.
