Job Description

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Bounty Boulevard State School Helping Hands, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 25 hours per week (guaranteed minimum).

You will work across split shifts to support our operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:50pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

About the role
Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

Enjoy working with kids
Strong and clear communication
Team player with a desire to become a service leader
Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
Australian work rights
National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
Obtained or working towards a relevant Diploma-level qualification to work with children as per ACECQA
