Our Assistance Centre provides 24/7 international health and security assistance to members travelling or living overseas. Staffed by a network of medical, security, aviation, and logistics specialists, we prepare customers before departure, assist them while abroad, and provide assistance whenever they have a question or concern.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse within our assistance services, you’ll be at the centre of complex, real-time case management, delivering telephonic clinical support, monitoring patient care overseas, and coordinating medical evacuations across the globe.

You’ll combine clinical expertise with fast decision-making to:

Deliver professional telephone triage and medical advice to a global client base
Liaise with international medical professionals to obtain medical assessments for patients who are hospitalised or being treated overseas.
Make critical decisions around medical evacuations and repatriations
Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams (medical, aviation, operations)
Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in a dynamic 24/7 environment

The role operates within a rotating roster on a 12 hour shift pattern between 7am to 10pm (no night shifts) within our Sydney Office setting.

About you

Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital nursing as a registered nurse.
Australian Nursing Registration without any conditions is a mandatory requirement.
Experience in either Emergency, Critical Care, RN Paramedic is advantageous
Proficiency in Word and Excel
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to work on-site from our Sydney Office
Must hold full working rights in Australia
