Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our dynamic and growing team of Eagle strength PTY LTD trading as Sorano restaurant in Cockburn central, WA. As our Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious, high-quality meals that delight our customers. This is a full-time role that will see you working closely with our talented kitchen team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our busy restaurant.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a range of dishes from our diverse menu
Ensuring all meals are presented to the highest standard
Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
Assisting with menu development and item costing
Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff
Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional customer experience
Reporting to the Head Chef and supporting them in the overall management of the kitchen

What we are looking for

Applicants must have a minimum of 1-2 years professional cooking experience.
A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or kitchen management is required for this position.
More preferable if candidate have advanced diploma in Hospitality.
This is a Head Chef position requiring leadership experience in kitchen operations.
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights or acceptable work visa status.
Italian cuisine experience is essential for this role, with expertise in traditional and contemporary Italian cooking techniques.
