About the Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Office Manager to join our busy automotive workshop. This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration and office operations while ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management, coordinating office procedures, and maintaining a professional and productive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations and administrative functions.
Coordinate customer bookings, enquiries, and service scheduling.
Maintain accurate customer, supplier, and company records.
Allocate tasks and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff administration.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and management to resolve issues and improve processes.
Monitor office supplies, equipment, and facility requirements.
Support payroll, invoicing, accounts administration, and reporting functions.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and relevant legislation.
Contribute to the development and implementation of office procedures and service standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in Office Management, Administration Management, or a similar leadership role.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management systems.
Automotive industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
