What this job involves: Managing and maintaining a mix of Owned Properties and Leased Premises within NSW /NT region (or as allocated) on a day-to-day basis to support the service delivery functions of Tabcorp occupying the premises and ensuring compliance with performance expectations. The role will assume overall responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services and helpdesk. The portfolio will include a mixture of commercial and retail properties including major corporate head offices. (Approx 90 Retail sites and 2 Commercial/Corporate). Based at the client’s new corporate office at Darling Park, Sydney
Engaging with team members
Ensure effective communication with all team members including the FM team members, JLL leasing and JLL support services.
Ensure all relevant reporting requirements are carried out on time including but not limited to compliance reporting, monthly report submissions, contractor spot checks etc
Partnering with the Client/Stakeholder(s)
Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client’s expectations are met. – Build and develop effective client / stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation.
Key point of contact for Facilities within the client’s portfolio.
Procurement & Vendor Management
Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget.
Ensure that vendor procurement processes comply with agreed client procurement guidelines as well as JLL best practice.
Overseeing Contracts
Plan and manage all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right costs.
Ensure expiry of contracts are well-monitored and re-procurement is initiated when required.
Ensure contracts are continually assessed to deliver best value to the client.
Keeping the numbers in check
Actively work to ensure that the site’s financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements including the JLL Code of Ethics – Ensure financial processes are always followed.
Input and management where required in the budgeting process.
Ensuring everyone stays safe.
This role has the responsibility and duty of care to work safely, taking reasonable care to protect their own health and safety and that of fellow workers and visitors and to comply with the requirements of the health and safety guidelines, policies, and rules.
Keeping an eye on the Site & Operations
Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations.
Implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are always maintained.
Ensure all Critical Environment (CEM) requirements are met.
Review existing operations regularly to reduce costs and improve operational standards.
24/7 emergency call support and site attendance is required
Work order management
2IC as directed for any critical sites.
Ad-hoc project management work
Carry out site inspections of all allocated properties.
Any other reasonable tasks as directed.
Limiting Risk to JLL & the Client
Ensure the JLL Operational Risk Management (ORM) program is implemented and maintained.
Ensure disaster recovering and business continuity plans are implemented and maintained.
Ensure escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures are implemented and maintained.
Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures.
Adhere to JLL’s business conduct by ensuring compliance with the firm’s guidelines, procedures, and strategies

Min. Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, building, business, or other related field &/or 5+ years’ experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related field
Has experience working in critical environments.
Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements Knowledge of critical facilities
Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services Understands basic technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system)
Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts. Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
Travel is required including potentially interstate.
The occupant must hold a current and valid Driver’s License
