In this role, you'll:
Join the Project Finance (PF) team, as part of the Infrastructure Projects and Engineering (IPE) Division, that drives excellence in how Transport for NSW (TfNSW) delivers its infrastructure and precinct projects. The PF team acts as an internal centre of excellence, and provides high value leadership and advice on funding, financing and strategic commercial matters across the IPE portfolio of projects, and the broader TfNSW.
Lead the structuring and delivery of high-value, complex commercial and financial transactions across major infrastructure and property development initiatives, influencing strategy, funding models and procurement outcomes that shape communities across NSW.
Provide trusted, evidence-based advice to senior executives and government stakeholders, driving commercial performance across Public-Private Partnerships, Unsolicited proposals, complex negotiations and transactions, with a focus on value for money and long-term impact.
Collaborate within a highly capable, well-connected team of subject matter experts, building strong partnerships across government and industry to deliver integrated, customer-focused outcomes aligned to NSW’s infrastructure priorities.

About you
- Proven experience in working across end-to-end infrastructure or property transactions, ideally including project finance concessions, and development.
- Strong commercial acumen with financial modelling, transaction structuring and written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled across procurement and/or transaction strategy, business cases, contracting frameworks and innovative delivery models.
- Proven ability to advise on funding strategies including debt, and equity for major capital investments including the ability to negotiate and execute infrastructure or property transactions and contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across government and/or the private sector.
- Track record of resolving complex financial or commercial issues or development challenges with sound judgement and professionalism.
- Strategic thinker who balances rigorous analysis with practical, outcome-focused decision-making.
- Passion for public value, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style that builds trust and capability in others.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in infrastructure, finance, economics, property or a related discipline.
- You might have prior experience working in consulting, specialist advisory, investment or funds management with a focus on infrastructure and/or property projects.
