Project Manager
We’re looking for a capable Project Manager to join our team in a newly created role.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more ownership, more trust, and a genuine chance to grow with a business that values good people, clear communication, and doing the job properly.
We’re not looking for someone to just “fill a seat”. We want someone who enjoys running projects, working with clients and trades, solving problems, and taking pride in seeing a job through from start to finish.
If you have 3+ years’ experience in project management, site management, contract administration, or a similar project delivery role, we’d like to hear from you.
Why This Role Is Worth Your Attention
This is a new role, which means there is room to make it your own.
You’ll have the opportunity to step into a business where your input matters, your experience is respected, and your ideas are welcome. You won’t be buried in layers of management or treated like a number.
We want someone who can grow with us long term. The right person will have real influence over how projects are managed, how systems are improved, and how the role develops over time.
You’ll be joining a team that backs each other, communicates openly, and cares about delivering quality work without unnecessary corporate noise.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you’ll help manage construction projects from planning through to completion.
You’ll be working with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, and internal staff to keep projects moving, solve issues early, and make sure jobs are delivered safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Planning and managing project programs
- Coordinating trades, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams
- Managing budgets, variations, procurement, claims, and reporting
- Keeping clients and stakeholders informed
- Identifying risks and solving problems before they become bigger issues
- Running project meetings and following up actions
- Making sure documentation, approvals, and records are kept up to date
- Helping improve the way we manage projects as the business grows
About You
You don’t need to have 20 years’ experience or have worked on the biggest projects in the country.
What we do want is someone who is switched on, organised, honest, and good with people. Someone who takes responsibility, communicates clearly, and knows how to keep a project moving.
You might already be a Project Manager, or you might be a strong Contract Administrator, Site Manager, Project Coordinator, or Foreman ready to step up into a broader project management role.
To be a good fit, you’ll likely have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction or project delivery
- A good understanding of construction programs, budgets, procurement, variations, and project documentation
- Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients
- Strong communication skills and a practical, calm approach to problem-solving
- The ability to manage priorities without needing to be micromanaged
- Pride in your work and the way you represent yourself and the business
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career, not just taking another job
Software and Systems Experience
We’re keen to understand what tools and systems you’ve used, because good systems make project delivery cleaner and more efficient.
In your application, please tell us what software you’ve worked with and how you’ve used it.
This may include:
- Microsoft Project
- Primavera P6
- Procore
- Aconex
- HammerTech
- Buildertrend
- Jobpac
- Cheops
- Bluebeam
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Excel
- Power BI
- Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, or similar platforms
You don’t need to have used every system on this list. We’re more interested in how you think, how you organise information, and how comfortable you are working with project systems.
Show Us What You’ve Worked On
A CV only tells part of the story. We’d love to see examples of real projects you’ve been involved in.
As part of your application, please include 2–3 brief project examples or case studies.
For each one, include:
- Project type
- Project value
- Location
- Your role
- What you were responsible for
- Key challenges on the job
- How you helped solve them
- The final outcome
- Any software or systems you used
These examples don’t need to be written like a formal report. We just want a clear picture of what you’ve done and how involved you were.
What Makes Someone Stand Out
The people we’ll be most interested in will be able to show:
- Real construction experience, not just generic project management language
- A clear understanding of how projects actually run on site
- Good commercial awareness
- Strong communication with clients, trades, and consultants
- Ownership of outcomes
- A practical attitude when things change or problems come up
- A CV that clearly explains what they have personally delivered
What You’ll Get From Us
We want this to be a role where the right person feels trusted, supported, and motivated to do their best work.
You can expect:
- A newly created role with room to grow
- Real input into how projects are delivered
- A supportive team that values good communication
- A workplace without unnecessary politics or ego
- Autonomy, trust, and responsibility
- Direct access to decision-makers
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Long-term career potential as the business grows
- The chance to help shape systems, processes, and project delivery from the ground up
If you’re looking for a place where you can be more than just another project manager, this could be the right move.
How to Apply
Please send through your CV and a short cover letter.
In your application, please include:
- The construction software and systems you’ve used
- A few examples of projects you’ve worked on
- Project values, sectors, and locations where possible
- What your role was on those projects

- Why this role interests you
We’re open to people with 3 years’ experience and above, provided you can show strong potential, a good attitude, and genuine construction experience.
If you’re practical, organised, good with people, and ready for a role where you can grow with the business, we’d like to hear from you.
