A pivotal role supporting executive decision‑making, governance and strategic delivery

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Executive Officer to provide high‑level executive, administrative and coordination support to the Corporate Executive, including the State Solicitor. This is a trusted role suited to a professional who exercises sound judgement, manages competing priorities and understands the importance of effective executive support in a complex public sector environment.

Within Corporate Services, the Executive Officer acts as a key liaison across the State Solicitor's Office, coordinating high‑level communications, supporting governance, business and strategic planning activities, and ensuring effective follow‑through of executive decisions. The role also contributes to audit, risk and compliance activities, leads priority projects, and drives continuous improvement in corporate and governance processes.

This position will suit an organised, analytical and proactive individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to professionalism, discretion and public service values.
