Position Purpose:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics & Warehouse Operator to join the team in our Keysborough location. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate & handle the day to day inbound & outbound warehouse flow. This includes sorting inbound deliveries from clinics through to suppliers, picking & packing accordingly, arranging freight collections via our freight platforms. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team environment and possess strong multitasking abilities with a 'can do' attitude.
Key Accountabilities:
The responsibilities of the Logistics & Warehouse Operator include but not limited to:
- Accountable of the inbound & outbound stock flow into & out of the warehouse.
- Processing orders, receipt & confirm shipment within our systems efficiently.
- Receive and sort donation aids, ensuring proper handling and distribution.
- Maintain consumable levels within the warehouse environment (cartons, satchels etc)
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area at all times.
- Support with cycle count and bi-annual stock take at warehouse
- Maintain the integrity of physical stock & system stock levels.
- Arranging pick up's & collections with freight provider (local & international)
- Liaising & interacting with freight providers on collections / drop off at warehouse
- Ensuring all central warehouse invoices are receipted and processed in a timely manner
- Stock request / urgent dispatching to company clinics nationally.
- Understanding OH&S guidelines
Professional Attributes:
- Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or a related field is essential
- Exposure to ERP system i.e. Oracle, JDE or Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Proficient in shipping portals for booking collections & pick ups.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges
- Physical fit and the ability to lift and move packages (up to lifting range of 25Kg)
- Forklift license desirable, but not essential
- First Aid certification desirable, but not essential.
