Our Australian team is growing; we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our Brisbane office.

About the role

Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.
Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues.
Deliver best practice technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes, and standards.
Prepare equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments.
Familiar with standard discipline deliverables and work process on projects.
Demonstrate initiative and basic leadership skills to give direction within a small work group.
Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients.
Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours).

About you

Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years post grad experience
Previous experience working in engineering consulting, EPC/EPCM in the mining and resources sectors.
Design experience using ETAP, SKM Power Tools or Hexagon SmartPlant.
Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and IEC/IEEE
Willingness to travel is highly desirable.
