Woven Image is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Victoria by expanding our customer base, strengthening industry partnerships, and increasing market presence within the commercial interiors and construction sectors.

About the Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to project delivery.
You will be responsible for building a sustainable pipeline of opportunities, increasing brand awareness, and developing strategic relationships across the architectural, design, commercial fit-out, construction and building industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue, volume and margin targets
- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across key market segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, builders, contractors and end users
- Manage a robust sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, proposals and value propositions
- Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close sales opportunities
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to support business growth initiatives
You are a commercially astute and results-driven sales professional with a proven track record of developing new business, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
- Extensive experience in business development, account management or sales roles
- Proven success identifying, securing and growing new business opportunities
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and influencing multiple stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market trends and growth opportunities
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools
- A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach, with strong planning and time management capabilities
We welcome candidates from commercial interiors, building products, construction, fit-out, architectural products, industrial manufacturing or related sectors. Experience working within project-based sales environments and engaging with architects, designers, builders, contractors or specification stakeholders will be highly regarded.
