Join a Growing Manufacturing Team:

Feramex is a Melbourne-based sheet metal manufacturer supplying roofing and architectural cladding products to the construction industry.

Based in Tullamarine, we run a fast-paced organised production operation with clear focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery.

We are looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our afternoon shift team in a hands-on factory role, with full training and long-term opportunities.

About the Role

This role sits within our production team on the afternoon shift (4pm to 12am Monday-Friday).

You will be part of a hands-on production team, learning specialised sheet-metal machinery and building practical skills in a well-run, organised factory.

This role suits reliable people who want consistent afternoon shift work as part of a strong, supportive team that works well together and get results.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and prepare production orders to meet schedule
Operate sheet-metal machinery to manufacture products to specification
Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch
Maintain a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
Follow safety procedures

Skills and Experience:

Required:

Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly
Basic computer and data entry skills
Able to commit to afternoon shift hours (4PM–12AM, Monday–Friday)
Available to work reasonable overtime and some flexibility around finish times when required

Preferred:

Forklift Licence
Experience in manufacturing or similar environment
