Full Job Description

ADENCO has an immediate full-time permanent vacancy for an experienced Earthmoving Plant Operator based at our Pilbara operations in Western Australia. This is a long-term role with a well-established WA civil and construction contractor delivering projects across the Pilbara region.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Operating and monitoring earthmoving plant including bulldozers, graders, scrapers, excavators and trenching machines.
Setting up and positioning plant; selecting and fitting attachments (buckets, hammers, scoops, blades).
Adjusting machine settings to regulate pressure, speed and flow.
Working from drawings, markers and verbal instructions to excavate and move materials.
Conducting pre-start inspections, refuelling, lubrication, cleaning and minor maintenance.
Identifying equipment faults and reporting promptly to minimise downtime.
Complying with WHS legislation, site procedures and ADENCO safety policies.
Recording production data, machine hours, downtime and completing operational documentation.
Working collaboratively with supervisors and crew to meet daily production targets.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum 2 years' demonstrable experience as an Earthmoving Plant Operator (General) – ANZSCO 721211.
Hands-on competency operating bulldozers, graders, scrapers and excavators.
White Card – Construction Induction (CPCWHS1001).
Current Australian driver's licence.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
Physically fit – able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
Strong attention to detail, communication and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable:

High-Risk Work Licences – Forklift (LF), EWP, Crane (CN/CV).
Heavy vehicle licence (HR/HC).
Prior FIFO or Pilbara experience.

Full-time permanent salary and superannuation.
Site / FIFO allowances where applicable.
Meals and accommodation provided on swing (FIFO roles).
Stable, long-term employment with a leading WA contractor.
