About you

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, detail orientated Legal Assistant looking for their next opportunity. The successful candidate will be passionate about fostering a collaborative environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced high performing team.

To be successful and thrive in this role you will have the following skills

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary or Assistant in a law firm (ideally within Intellectual Property)
Excellent communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
The ability to build strong working relationships
Strong work ethic, ability to manage competing priorities and keep on top of deadlines
A commitment to excellence with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work (attention to detail is critical)

Your role

You will be responsible for delivering high-level administrative and secretarial support to two of our leading Partners within our Intellectual Property and Technology team.

Key Responsibilities

Diary and inbox management
Meeting, travel and event management
Assisting in the maintenance of the firm's trademark portfolio database
Drafting documents and correspondence, including court documents
Producing and formatting accurate, high-quality correspondence and legal documents
Assisting with matter management, including conflict checks, file opening and closing, file set up, engagement letters, cost estimates
Preparation of end-of-month billing, expenses and vendor invoicing
Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders including our clients
General administrative duties
