About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and support business growth across domestic and international markets.
The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering high-impact campaigns that strengthen the organisation’s position in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Opportunity Analysis
- Scoping growth areas in the domestic and international education market, including researching student demand, program viability, and the competitive environment.
- Designing and overseeing primary and secondary market research to understand prospective student needs and inform positioning strategies.
- Monitoring changes in consumer behaviour, industry developments, and education sector trends.
- Gathering and interpreting student and market data to generate insights that inform marketing strategy.
- Applying audience segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies to effectively reach prospective students in domestic and international markets.
- Analyzing market demand and characteristics for products and services through data collection and interpretation, and conducting market research to identify new and existing market opportunities
Marketing Planning and Campaign Management
- Developing and implementing integrated marketing and advertising campaigns from concept through to delivery
- Setting marketing objectives, reviewing effectiveness, and refining marketing strategies and promotional activities
- Applying audience segmentation, targeting, and positioning approaches to reach prospective students effectively
- Coordinating the development and delivery of marketing materials across digital, print, and video channels
Content and Brand Management
- Overseeing copywriting, creative development, and production of marketing content
- Supporting the development of graphics, social media content, and promotional materials
- Ensuring all marketing activities align with brand guidelines and visual identity standards
- Maintaining brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels to support organisational reputation and positioning

Strategic Advice and Stakeholder Engagement
- Providing advice to senior management and internal stakeholders on advertising and promotional approaches
- Supporting decision-making on pricing, marketing channels, and program positioning
- Contributing to strengthening brand recognition and market presence
- Ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication activities
- Providing marketing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making
Digital Marketing and Performance Reporting
- Managing digital marketing activities, including search engine optimisation, paid advertising, and analytics
- Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance against key metrics
- Supporting domestic and international student recruitment through targeted campaigns
- Adjusting marketing strategies based on performance insights
- Continuously optimising marketing initiatives based on data analysis and performance outcomes
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in marketing
- Proven expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, paid advertising (Google Ads), and social media campaign management
- Strong experience using marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and campaign tracking platforms
- Demonstrated ability to analyse market data, identify trends, and translate insights into high-impact marketing strategies
- Solid experience in campaign planning, execution, and optimisation across multiple channels
- Excellent communication, content creation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Highly developed analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, exercise professional judgement, and take ownership of outcomes
