The Role
Harrisdale SHS is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Technologies teacher to join our dedicated and collaborative Technologies Learning Area. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving, fast‑growing school community that values innovation, practical skill development, and high‑quality teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will teach across the Design and Technologies curriculum, with a focus on workshop‑based learning in Metals, Wood, and Engineering contexts. Experience teaching Senior School courses such as Materials Design and Technology (Wood and/or Metal) is highly regarded.
Harrisdale SHS offers well‑equipped workshop facilities that support safe, engaging, and industry‑aligned practical learning. You will work with a collaborative and supportive team of Technologies teachers committed to developing students’ problem‑solving, technical proficiency, and design thinking through authentic, hands‑on learning experiences.
