Mandoon Estate is seeking dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our team based in the Swan Valley.

Mandoon Estate is a highly awarded boutique winery situated in the Swan Valley. Mandoon Estate has a Micro-Brewery, Restaurant, Function Centre, Deli, Private Wine Room, Cellar Door, boutique accommodation and a dedicated arts centre. This really is an opportunity to join a large dynamic kitchen team.

This is a hands on role which will require weekend and evening work.

Mandoon Estate's Main Kitchen is a busy operation responsible for servicing the multiple areas listed above.

You will need to be able to demonstrate:

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, professional and demanding kitchen
Work experience on sections including but not limited to grill, pans, pizza, fryers, larder and pastry.
Impeccable hygiene standards
Proper stock control, ordering and rotation
Ability to train and develop junior staff
Ensure compliance with relevant Occupational Health and Safety procedures including knowledge of HACCP
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen within a five star hotel environment; will be highly regarded
Flexible with working hours
Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery
Passion for producing consistent, quality food
A strong work ethic and the ability to multitask
Must have the right to work in Australia
