We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Warehouse Superintendent to lead and oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials.
In this role, you will manage daily warehouse activities, supervise warehouse personnel, and ensure inventory accuracy while maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. You will work closely with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and operational teams to ensure timely material availability and support business objectives. The position requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and customer service.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Optimize the safety stock structure, reduce inventory backlogs and losses, improve inventory turnover, and promptly dispose of stagnant inventory.

Strictly follow the safety stock strategy to replenish stocks in a timely manner to ensure delivery needs

Establish and improve the warehouse HSE management system as well as warehouse equipment configuration and maintenance management system

Manage operating procedure and SOP system based on business requirements.

Team Management

Manage the warehouse team, including organizational structure design, personnel recruitment, training, daily task allocation, establishment of team performance appraisal system, building a good team atmosphere, and enhancing team cohesion.

Lead warehouse layout optimization by rationally planning warehouse functional zoning, material correlation analysis, shelf, storage location, aisle, traffic flow design, basic equipment configuration.
The ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain operations.

At least 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience.

Professional certifications in Warehouse Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management are an advantage.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and materials management.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Willingness to work in Brokopondo on a rotational schedule of 14 days on, 7 days off.

Must be able to obtain and provide a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (Bewijs van Goed Gedrag) upon selection and prior to employment.
