About the Role
You’ll be hands-on in the workshop, working from drawings to fabricate and assemble high-quality components. This role involves building and maintaining project schedules, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Sheet metal fabrication and assembly
- MIG and TIG welding
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Reading and interpreting technical/shop drawings
- Operating fabrication machinery and trade tools
- Contributing to project timelines and workflow planning
- Maintaining a high level of workmanship and safety standards
About You
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding
- Relevant trade or vocational qualifications
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded)
- Forklift licence and experience
- Own tools relevant to the trade
- Experience in engineering/fabrication environments
