The Role

Our Home Care services empower older people to live at home independently and safely. You will provide individualized care tailored to the needs of each client and their families.

This role is responsible for competently performing routine functions and duties within clients’ homes around Penrith and surrounding areas on a permanent part-time basis and preferably, with work availability of 3-5 days during weekdays. The position is accountable and responsible in ensuring compliance with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, relevant legislation and accepted industry practices.

Your role will include:

Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation and help with eating
Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments
Social support & activities, including outings and social activities.
Personal care, showering, and bathing, general self-care duties
Domestic assistance, light household cleaning.
Medication assistance

Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support, or AIN qualifications
Current driver's license
OWN car with full comprehensive insurance
Willingness to travel on a regular basis using your own vehicle.
Time management skills
Reliable and trustworthy – our clients are dependent on you.
Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
Proven Aged Care or NDIS services background
Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working independently and remotely in customers’ homes and in the local community.
