Our Daimler Trucks Laverton dealership is seeking a motivated and hands-on Workshop Controller to lead our skilled team and play a key role in our continued success within Australia’s dynamic transport industry.

About the Role

Lead, mentor and support a team of Technicians and Apprentices
Oversee daily workshop operations — scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation
Monitor job progress to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely completion
Liaise with Service Advisors to keep customers informed and satisfied
Maintain accurate job records, invoicing, and warranty compliance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and profitability
Provide hands-on technical guidance and training to your team

Proven leadership experience as a Senior Technician, Leading Hand, Foreman, or Workshop Controller
Strong communication and people management skills
Proactive, organised, and passionate about developing others
Experience with European, American, or Japanese truck brands is advantageous but not essential
