As we continue to evolve and grow our Ready Meals category, we’re looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Product Executive – Commercialisation Ready Meals to join our Marketing & Growth team based in Mentone on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a large-scale transformation program across one of our fastest-growing categories.
The Role
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end execution of a major Ready Meals transformation program, with a key focus on managing and delivering packaging and artwork changes across approximately 95 SKUs.
Working at the intersection of Marketing, PMO, Innovation, and Sales, you’ll ensure all product, packaging, and brand changes are executed accurately, efficiently, and delivered to market on time and to a high standard. This
12-month fixed-term contract is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced project delivery, thrives on cross-functional collaboration, and wants to make a tangible impact within a leading FMCG business.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing – Ready Meals, your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Own and drive the execution of packaging and artwork changes across 95 SKUs
- Manage project timelines, critical paths, dependencies, and risks to ensure successful delivery
- Translate innovation plans into executable, market-ready outcomes
- Lead artwork development and implementation in collaboration with agencies and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all packaging artworks meet regulatory, product, and brand requirements
- Coordinate approvals, version control, and stakeholder sign-off processes
- Act as the key interface between PMO, Marketing, Innovation, Supply Chain, and Sales teams
- Support go-to-market execution across all customer and retail touchpoints
- Anticipate and mitigate risks impacting timelines, inventory, and customer delivery
- Maintain strong governance, reporting, and communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Support budget tracking and cost management across the program
The Person
You’re a detail-oriented and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’re confident engaging stakeholders and influencing outcomes, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and compliance.
To be successful in this role you will showcase the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related discipline
- Proven experience in food manufacturing quality assurance and internal auditing
- Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, VACCP/TACCP, and GFSI standards (e.g. BRCGS, SQF)
- Excellent report writing, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel between Patties sites
