Head of Marketing

We’re partnering with one of Australia’s most awarded fitness and wellness brands to find a Head of Marketing who can help shape the next phase of growth.

This is a rare opportunity to lead marketing for a premium lifestyle brand with a passionate community, an established in-house marketing and creative team, and ambitious plans for expansion. You'll own the marketing strategy across multiple brands, balancing brand building, member acquisition and retention, while helping bring a bold vision to life.

What you'll be doing

Leading the overall brand and marketing strategy across a portfolio of premium fitness and wellness brands
Managing and mentoring an in-house team of marketers, creatives and growth specialists
Developing and executing marketing plans aligned to commercial growth targets and brand objectives
Acting as the guardian of brand standards across all channels and customer touchpoints
Leading content, social media and creative strategy to drive engagement and brand awareness
Managing creative production budgets and ensuring content investment delivers commercial outcomes
Overseeing website strategy, customer journey optimisation and digital experience improvements
Driving app engagement, retention initiatives and member communications
Supporting paid media, CRM, SEO and lifecycle marketing strategies
Leading brand partnerships, creator collaborations, events and PR initiatives
Developing launch strategies for new locations, major announcements and brand activations
Owning the marketing budget and ensuring effective allocation of resources
Partnering closely with executive leadership to align marketing and business objectives
Delivering regular reporting, performance insights and strategic recommendations

What they're looking for

Proven experience leading a multidisciplinary marketing function
Strong background in brand strategy, marketing leadership and team management
Experience balancing brand building with performance marketing outcomes
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience leading content, creative and social media functions
Strong commercial acumen and budget management capability
Experience overseeing digital marketing, CRM and customer journey initiatives
Ability to translate data and performance metrics into actionable business insights
Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed
High standards, strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional work

Nice to have

Experience within fitness, wellness, lifestyle, hospitality or premium consumer brands
Experience leading in-house creative and content teams
Background working in high-growth, founder-led or entrepreneurial businesses
Experience launching new locations, products or consumer experiences
Strong understanding of community-led and membership-based business models
